RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AMENDMENT TO BRING A PORTION OF PROPERTY INTO THE
CURRENT METROPOLITAN URBAN SERVICE AREA (MUSA)
WHEREAS, on November 17, 2005, the Lakeville Planning Commission
met to consider the application of the Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Young
Men's Christian Association (YMCA) for a Comprehensive Plan amendment to
bring a portion of the YMCA property into the current Metropolitan Urban Service
Area (MUSA) to allow a 6 inch wide sanitary sewer line to serve the pool house
restrooms located on the north side of Camp Streefland located at 11490 Klamath
Trail. The Planning Commission conducted a public hearing on the proposed
Comprehensive Plan amendment preceded by published and mailed notice; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the proposed Comprehensive
Plan amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Lakeville, Minnesota:
1. The Comprehensive Plan amendment will not have a substantial impact on
or contain a substantial departure from Metropolitan System Plans.
2. The Comprehensive Plan amendment is hereby approved, contingent upon
the following:
a) Submission of the Comprehensive Plan amendment to adjacent
governmental units and affected school districts for review and
comment.
b) Submission of the Comprehensive Plan amendment to the
• Metropolitan Council

ADOPTED this 5t" day of December 2005, by the City Council of the
City of Lakeville, Minnesota.
