DAKOTA, COUNTY, MINNESOTA
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 13
OF THE LAKEVILLE CITY CODE CONCERNING
THE SURFACE WATER MANAGEMENT UTILITY
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 7-13-3(A) of the Lakeville .City Code is amended to read as
follows:
A. The utility factors for various land uses are as follows:
Classification Land Use Utility Factor
I Single-family residential 1.0
2 Agricultural with a homestead 1.0
3 Duplex .50
4 Manufactured homes .25
5 Townhomes .50
6 Apartments .25
7 CommerciaUindustrial 4.2
8 Church, school, institutions 4.2
9 Golf course 4.2
10 Parking lots as a principal use 4.2
SECTION 2. Section 7-13-5 of the Lakeville City Code is amended to read as follows:
7-13-5: EXEMPTIONS:. The following land uses are exempt from the surface water
management fee:
Cemeteries
Gravel pits
Railroads
Undeveloped land
Agricultural without a home
Street and highway right of way

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective on January 1, 2001.
ADOPTED this 20th day of March , 2000, by the City Council of the
City of Lakeville, Minnesota.
