RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSMENT
OF WEED/GRASS REMOVAL
WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, the City Council has
met, heard and passed upon all objections to the proposed special assessment of Weed/Grass
Removal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lakeville, Minnesota:
1. Such proposed assessment No. 1148 in the amount of $ 882.80, a copyof which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and shall constitute the special assessment against
the land named therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found. to be benefited by the
proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied against it. The Special assessment was
calculated as follows:
Contract Weed Cutting 559.13
Legal Notice Publication 105.00
Special Assessment Administrative Fee 75.00
Dakota County Special. Assessment Fee 9.00
Interest 134.67
Total Proposed Special Assessment $ 882.80

2. Such assessments shall be considered payable and collected with the taxes payable in
2004 and shall bear interest at the rate of 18% per annum from the date of the adoption of this
assessment resolution to December 31, 2005.

3. The owner of the property so assessed may, at any time within 30 days. of the adoption
of this resolution, pay the whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to the date
of payment, to the City Treasurer, except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is
paid within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution.
4. The City Clerk shall forthwith transmit a certified duplicate of this assessment to the
County Auditor to be extended on the proper tax lists of the County, and such assessments shall be
.collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes.
ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota, this 15h day of
November, 2004.
