HomeMy WebLinkAbout0580 ORDINANCE NO. 5so CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 167, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, CONCERNING ACCESSORY BUILDINGS AND MAXIMUM ALLOWED SQUARE FOOTAGE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS: Section 1. Section 11-6-4 F of Ordinance No. 167 is amended to read as follows: Area Limitations: Except as expressly permitted by conditional use permit, the combination of an accessory building and garages shall not exceed either of the following. area limitations per lot: (Ord. 167, 7-7-80) The Percentage of the Required Minimum Lot Maximum Size that may be Allowable Occupied by the Floor Area Zoning District Accessory Building (Sg. A detached accessory building area of not more than 150 square feet is permitted in addition to the 1.,250 square foot attached garage. Attached garages on Lots of Record created after January 1, 1994 and pre- 1994 lots greater than one acre may exceed 1,250 square feet by conditional .use permit subject to the provisions listed in Section 11-6-4 H. Storage spaces located directly below attached garages shall not be considered in determining allowable accessory building floor area. * In the R-4 and R-5 zoning districts, the accessory building size shall further be Limited to ten (10) percent of the unit lots in a two family, quadraminium or townhouse subdivision. Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication. ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1996, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville.
