The bad news is that we will be leaving the City of Lakeville very soon, and so I will need to tender my resignation from the Park, Rec and Natural Resource committee effective November 22, 2010. Our buyers are transferring from Connecticut and need to take possession of the house as soon as possible. We agreed to a closing date of November 23rd and will be heading to New Hampshire on Sunday morning, November 28th. I will definitely plan to stop by City Hall to say good -bye before I leave, since we may /may not have another meeting in November. It has been my great pleasure working with everyone from Lakeville for all these years, and I will certainly miss the people and the city. We have loved living here and have especially enjoyed the wonderful parks and trails as well as all the open space that you have worked so hard to provide to the citizens. While the players may have changed over the past 25 plus years, the dedication of the park staff has remained strong and consistent. Thanks for all that you have done, and thanks for giving me the opportunity to be a part of all of it.
