OF THE CITY OF LAKEVII.LE ORDAINS: SECTION L Definitions. The following terms whenever used in this ordinance shall be interpreted to mean: "Tattoo Parlor" means. any business where tattoos are affixed to the human body for a fee. SECTION 2. Intent.. It is the intent of this ordinance. to allow the City of Lakeville time to complete an in-depth study concerning changes in official controls, including the City's zoning ordinance, and in the interim to protect the planning process and the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the community. SECTION 3. Temoorarv Prohibition. Pending the completion of the above referenced study and adoption of appropriate official controls, tattoo parlors. are prohibited. SECTION 4. Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage and publication and shall remain in effect until the date of the adoption of the official controls contemplated hereunder or February is , 19 97 ,whichever occurs first. (2) Maximum rate allowed by law for the above matter: $16.20 per column inch.
