Donations to the Lakeville Veterans Memorial were received from various sources. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS TO THE LAKEVILLE VETERANS MEMORIAL WHEREAS, individuals as indicated on the attached list made donations to the Lakeville Veterans Memorial; and WHEREAS, the donations are beneficial to the Lakeville Veterans Memorial; and WHEREAS, the individuals have offered to transfer full rights of ownership of the donations to the Lakeville Veterans Memorial with no conditions or reservations; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville, Minnesota that the donations by these individuals are hereby accepted; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely thanks these individuals for their generous donations. Deborah Sandhoff: Donation of 1998 Lazy Cycle sold at public auction on December 12, 2010 for a value of $3,300 minus auction fees ($412.50) = $2,887.50 for the upkeep and maintenance of the Lakeville Veterans Memorial.
