JANUARY 3, 2011
Sheriff Don Gudmundson administered the oath of office to Mayor Mark Bellows,
Council Member Matt Little and Council Member Colleen Ratzlaff LaBeau.

Mayor Bellows called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. T pledge of
allegiance to the flag was given.

Mayor Bellows announced that citizens will no longer be limited to three minutes
for comments.
Richard Henderson, 20664 Jutland Place, presented a petition from residents of
Jutland Place expressing opposition to the City of Lakeville granting approval to
the land owner (Malt -O -Meal) to encroach upon or vacate the existing

conservation easement. He also expressed a concern on the lack of additional
communications from Malt -O -Meal.
Mr. Mielke stated representatives of Malt -O -Meal are planning to hold a follow -
up neighborhood meeting later in January to present their findings. Following
that meeting, staff hopes to schedule something for the Council's review and
discussion.

department for its snow removal efforts.
