HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-089 CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION DATE April 15, 2002 RESOLUTION NO. 02-89 MOTION BY Bellows SECONDED BY Mulvihill RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING VOTING PRECINCTS AND POLLING PLACES WHEREAS, Congressional and Legislative Districts have been established by the Minnesota Supreme Court Special Redistricting Panel based on population data prepared by the 2000 U.S. Census Bureau; and WHEREAS, municipal governments must reestablish precincts in accordance. with the Redistricting Plan and Minnesota State Statutes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that the City shall be divided into 14 precincts as described on the attached 2002 Precinct Map. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the polling places for Precincts 1-14 shall be designated as follows: Precinct 1 (Reestablished precinct boundary and polling place) Polling place: Lakeville Area Arts Center, 20965 Holyoke Avenue Precinct 2 (Reestablished precinct boundary and polling place) Polling place: All Saints Catholic Church, 19795 Holyoke Avenue Precinct 3 (Reestablished precinct boundary, existing .polling place) Polling place: Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 16165 Kenwood Trail Precinct 4 (Existing precinct boundary, reestablished polling place) Polling place: Hosanna!
