HomeMy WebLinkAbout02-063 w " CITY OF LAKEVILLE DAKOTA COUNTY, MINNESOTA RESOLUTION Date April 1, 2002 Resolution 02-b3 Motion By Luick Seconded By Rieb RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY TO THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF LAKEVILLE, MINNESOTA WHEREAS, the City has approved the administrative subdivision of the water treatment facility parcel (PID #22-01700-015-26), located at 18400 Ipava Avenue, into two newly created tax parcels, one of which is the following described property; That part of the W 1/2 of the NW 1/4, of Section 17, Township 114, Range 20, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of the said Northwest Quarter; thence South 89 degrees 36 minutes 06 seconds East, along the south line of said NW 1/4, a distance of 698.92 feet to the point of beginning; thence North 00 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds West, a distance of 353.14 feet; thence North 77 degrees 33 minutes 03 seconds East, a distance of 643.93 feet to the east line of said W 1/2; thence South 00 degrees 30 minutes 30 seconds East, along said east line, a distance of 496.34 feet to the south line of said NW 1/4; thence North 89 degrees 36 minutes 06 seconds West, along the said south line, a distance of 630.00 feet to the point of beginning. ("Subject Property"); WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City to transfer the Subject Property to the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of Lakeville, Minnesota ("HRA") for the purpose of financing construction improvements for new Fire Station #4 on the Subj ect Property; WHEREAS, to memorialize the transfer it is necessary for the City to deliver a Warranty Deed conveying the Subject Property to the HRA with the specific exception of reserving all easements and restrictions of record; and • slsza6-i 2 r WHEREAS, the proposed transfer of the Subject Property has no relationship to the City's Comprehensive Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville: 1. The requirements of Minn. Stat. § 462.356 are hereby dispensed with as the same relate to the transfer of the Subject Property from the City to the HRA. 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and deliver a Warranty Deed from the City to the HRA covering the Subject Property, said Warranty Deed to specifically reserve all easements and restrictions of record.
