RESOLUTION AMENDING
THE LAKEVILLE LIQUORS KEG REGISTRATION POLICY
Be it hereby resolved, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville approve the
Lakeville Liquors Keg Registration Policy, copy of which is attached.
Be it further resolved, by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that the Keg
Registration Policy take effect September. 4, 2001.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lakeville this 16th day of July,. 2001.

KEG REGISTRATFON
POLICY
Keg registration serves as an effective means of control, and is utilized as a
monitoring device to ensure that alcoholic beverages are beings procured and
accessed by only those individuals who are of legal drinking age.. It is the
responsibility of each staff member to ensure that all keg registration
requirements. are completed each time a keg is sold.,
As kegs are sold, the following- steps must be competed:
KEG REGSTRATION/IDENTIFICATION:
1. Record all information applicable on keg registration form.
a. Keg Deposits should be recorded as $10.00
b. Tap Deposits should be recorded as $55.00
Z. Once all information has'been recorded, have the customer read, sign and
date the keg registration form.
3. Registration form should then be inserted and maintained in-the keg
reservation book.
4. Complete sale as documented on page # of the policy and procedure
manual.
5. Affix keg identification to the keg.
Note: Once keg and tap have been returned and all applicable deposits
refunded to thecustomer, keg registration forms are to be maintained by the
bookkeeper#or a minimum of 90 days.
A keg .identification tag is not required on root beer kegs, :but a keg. registration
form must be completed.
All information `recorded on the keg registration forms must be completed by a
.Lakeville Liquors staff member and not by the customer.
Upon return. of the keg, the keg :identification tag must be removed and
destroyed..

KEG AND TAP RESERVATIONS
.POLICY
As a service to our customers, Lakeville Liquors continues to offer a wide variety
ofeight-gallon beer and root beer kegs. Each location has a customized keg
reservation sheet that records the number of kegs to be kept on hand. These..
reservation sheets will be revised accordingly, reflective of the change in
seasons and demand.
KEG RESERVATION SHEET:
1. Anew keg reservation sheet is to be started each Monday and should be
.used to record the reserved kegs for the upcoming. week.
2. As kegsare delivered they must be recorded by an "X" in the received
column.
3. As kegs are reserved, enter the date of pickup, customer's name and
telephone number on the keg reservation sheet. If required, taps should
be recorded and marked as needed.
• 4. There are special order spaces on each reservation sheet for special
orders and requests..: When a special order is taken, fill in the type of keg.
ordered as well as all customer information.
5. As kegs are reserved, the shaded portion of the. keg registration form must
be completed and inserted unto keg reservation book.
6: As kegs are. picked up, draw a single line through the reservation on the
keg .reservation sheet denoting pick up.
7. If a cancellation of a keg order. is received, the staff member accepting the
cancellation is responsible for removing the customers name from the keg
reservation sheet.
8. Limit of three. kegs per customer, group or party without Director or Store
Supervisor approval
9. As kegs are received.. the customers should be informed of the following:
a. 1=u l or partial kegs are non-refundable
b. Customers must provide their own carry-out
c. All. deposits are to becash only
