RESOLUTION NO. 90 -05
RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE TO CALL FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON THE PROPOSED MODIFICATION NO. 2
OF THE SOUTHFORK I HOUSING DEVELOPMENT
PROJECT PLAN, INTEREST RATE REDUCTION
PROGRAM AND HOUSING TAX INCREMENT
DISTRICT NO. 8, AND ADOPT THE MODIFIED PLANS
AND PROGRAMS RELATING THERETO.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of The Housing and
Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Lakeville, Minnesota (the
"Authority ") as follows:
1. The Authority proposes to modify the Southfork I Housing
Development Project Plan, Interest Rate Reduction Program and Housing Tax
Increment District No. 8. The Authority also proposes to adopt the modifications
to the tax increment financing district plan and programs relating thereto,
pursuant to and in accordance with Minnesota Statutes, Sections 469.001 to 469.047
and Sections 469.174 to 469.179, inclusive, as amended.
2. The Authority hereby requests the City Council of the City of
Lakeville, Minnesota (the "City ") to call for a public hearing to consider the above
matters and cause notice of said public hearing to be given as required by law.
3. The Authority hereby directs the Executive Director to transmit
copies of the plan to the Dakota County Board of Commissioners and the School
District Boards in which the proposed tax increment district and modification is
located, and to advise the Commissioners of the County Board and School Boards
that the Authority intends to consider approval of the plans and programs at its
meeting on January 7, 1991.
4. The Executive Director of the Authority is hereby directed to submit
the proposed plan to the City Council.
