HomeMy WebLinkAbout85-01HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY RESOLUTION DATE: May 6, 1985 Motion By: Enright RESOLUTION NO.: 85 -1 Seconded By: Zaun RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN (MEADOWS NORTH) BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority in and for the City of Lakeville, Minnesota, as follows: Section 1. Recitals It is hereby determined to be necessary and desirable to amend the legal description of the Project Area and of Tax Increment Financing District No. 5, as contained in the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan for Meadows North, to conform the legal description to the plat of the property. Amendment No. 1 to the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan (Meadows North) has been prepared for such purpose and reviewed by this Board. Section 2. Approval Amendment No. 1 to the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan (Meadows North) is hereby approved. Adopted by the Board of Commissioners this 6th day of May, 1985. HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY ! By Chairman Attest: _ 5z� Secretary AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN (MEADOWS NORTH) I. Purpose of Amendment Subsequent to preparation of the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan for Meadows North, and approval thereof by the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Lakeville, and the City Council of the City, certain property, including the project area, has been platted, and it is necessary and desirable to conform the legal description of the project area in the Development Plan and Tax Increment Financing Plan with the description contained in the plat. The original legal description and the amended legal description hereinafter set forth encompass substantially the same property, and no change is anticipated in the original assessed value of the property. II. Amendment of Development Plan Section I, paragraph C of the Development Plan is amended to read as follows: "The boundaries of the Project Area are shown in Exhibit A, "Project Area Boundary Map." All land included in the Project Area is within the legal boundaries of the City. The legal descrip- tion of the Project Area is Lot 1, Block 1, and Lots 1 - 5, inclusive, Block 2, together with dedicated part of 204th Street West, all in Meadows North, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the Dakota County Recorder's office." III. Amendment of Tax Increment Financing Plan Section III of the Tax Increment Financing Plan is hereby amended to read as follows: "The Tax Increment Financing District No. 5 (the District) is coterminus with the Project Area. The legal description is Lot 1, Block 1 and Lots 1 - 5, inclusive, Block 2, together with dedicated part of 204th Street West, all in Meadows North, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the Dakota County Recorder's office."
