RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
WHEREAS, The City of Lakeville accepts donations from organizations and.
individuals to enhance the delivery of the Police. Drug Abuse Resistance Education
(D.A.R.E.) Program; and
WHEREAS,R & A Keeton, Inc. d.b.a. Ole Piper Restaurant has offered to
donate $200 to the City of Lakeville for use in the D.A.R.E. Program; and
WHEREAS, The Lakeville Police Department would like to accept this generous
donation for use within the D.A.R.E. Program; and
WHEREAS .Minnesota Statute 465.03 re wires that all ifts and donations of

real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the
governing body..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Lakeville accepts,this donation. from R & A Keeton, Inc. d.b.a. Ole Piper Restaurant; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville and the Police
Department sincerely thanks this organization for its generous donation.
