HomeMy WebLinkAbout11-015CITY OF LAKEVILLE RESOLUTION NO. 11 -15 RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM RICHARD JACKSON THE OWNER OF GREEN PLANET CAR WASH AND JOEL BOOTH THE OWNER OF THE LAKEVILLE SUPER AMERICA WHEREAS, Richard Jackson, the owner of the Green Planet Car Wash located at 20275 Heritage Drive, and Joel Booth, the owner of the Lakeville Super America at 17546 Kenwood Trail, have offered to donate car washing services to the Lakeville Police Department for the remainder of 2011. WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lakeville that the donation of car washing services for the Lakeville Police Department for the remainder of 2011 is hereby accepted; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville sincerely appreciates and thanks Richard Jackson, the owner of the Green Planet Car Wash, and Joel Booth, the owner of the Lakeville Super America, for their generous donations to the City of Lakeville Police Department.
