AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 167,
THE ZONING .ORDINANCE, CONCERNING RENEWAL
OF SPECIAL HOME OCCUPATION PERMITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEVILLE ORDAINS:
Section 1. Subsection 4 of Section 10.3 of Ordinance No. 167 is amended to read:
4) Effect of Permit. A "special home occupation permit" may be issued for a period of one
(1) year after which the permit may be reissued for periods of up to three (3) years each.
Each application for permit renewal shall be processed in accordance. with. the provisions
of Section 4 of this Ordinance regarding Conditional Use Permits, except that no public
hearing is required on the permit renewal, unless deemed necessary by the Planning
Commission or City Council. However, notice of the permit renewal application must
be provided to all property owners of land within three hundred fifty (350) feet of the
boundary of the property in question. The notice must provide the date of the hearing
before the Planning Commission and indicate that parties may be heard to consider the
application. Failure of a property owner to receive said notice shall not invalidate any
such proceedings as set forth within this Ordinance.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and
publication.

LAKEVILLE ORDAINS:
