Rolle call of members was taken.. Present: Geisness, D. Miller, Harvey,. Johnson, Grohoski, Heald. Absent.: Rice Also present: Sid Miller, Building. Inspector; Roger Knutson, City Attorney;. Betty Sndt, Councilperson; Shirley Sorensen, Recording Sec. 82.122 Motion was. made by D. Muller, seconded by Geisness, to accept the minutes of the 5 August 1982 Planning Commission meeting.. Koll call was taken. on the motion. Ayes: Geisness, D. Muller, Harvey, Grohoski, Heald. Abstain: Johnson Chairman Harvey opened the continued. public hearing on the application of Minnesota Valley Free Lutheran Church. for a conditional use permit and a variance to construct a parsonage and a church building at the southwest corner of the intersection of Highview Avenue and 160th Street. Rev. '-Tjelta presented a revised plan for the proposed church and asked for the Commission's feeling or whether they are comfortable with it now. Dis- cession followed. 2.123 Motion was made by Johnson, seconded b D. Miller to continue this ublic Y , p hearing .until further notice. Roll call was taken on .the motion. Ayes: Unanimous 82.124 Motion was-made by D. Miller,. seconded by Johnson, to continue the public hearing on the application of Kraus-Anderson Const. Co. for a conditional use permit for underground fuel storage facilities and a convenience grocery store at the northeast. corner. of Highway SO and Dodd Road until further notice. .Roll call was taken on the motion. Ayes: Unanimous Chairman Harvey opened the public hearing on the application of the City of Lakeville for an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance No. 167 establishing dwelling unit restrictions for residential housing, distinguishing types of housing, regulating its use, and authorizing its location in various-zones. Mr. Roger Knutson attested to this being a duly publicized hearing. Mr. Keith Huber,. 7225. Lyndale Ave So., Richfield, who sells mobile homes, asked if we are ..trying to keep modular homes,. mobile: homes, etc. out of the Lakeville community entirely. After lengthy discussion Chairman Harvey said he felt the commission members need to do alot more study and thinking on this .issue. ~ 125 Motion was made by Grohoski, seconded by Geisness, to continue this public hearing until September 2nd, 19$2 to allow the commission members time to ;revier~'both the draft~and:.the ordinance., and the.. information packet given ~to them by Mr. Knutson. ~4Sr f b yw 1,.. t Lakeville, Aiinnesota Planning .Commission Meeting August 19, 1982 Roll. call was taken on the motion..
