RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC ROADWAY,
TRAILWAY, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS
• WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has conducted a public hearing, preceded by
.two (2) weeks published notice, to consider the following described .public roadway,
trailway, drainage and utility easement vacation, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that it is in the public interest to
approve the public roadway, trailway, drainage and utility easement vacation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lakeville City Council:
1. The following public roadway, trailway, drainage and utility easements are
hereby vacated:
(see Exhibit A)
2. The City Clerk is directed to file. a certified copy of this resolution with the Dakota
County Recorder.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 5t" day of July, 2000.

That part of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of the Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Section 20,
Township 114, Range 20, and the Southeast Quarter (SE 114) of the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4)
of Section 19, Township 114, Range 20, Dakota County, Minnesota, lying 40.00 feet southerly
of an East-West roadway centerline, described by metes and bounds as follows: Commencing at
the Northwest comer of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of said Section 19; thence North 00 degrees 00
minutes 21 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the extension of the West line of said SE 1/4 of
the NE 1/4, a distance of 11.00 feet to the point of beginning of the roadway centerline to be
described; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 07 seconds East, a distance of 39.97 feet; thence
easterly along a tangential curve concave to the southwest, having a central angle of 44 degrees
09 minutes 37 seconds, a radius of 2,000.00 feet and an aze distance of 1,541.49 feet; thence
South46 degrees 03 minutes 16 seconds East, tangent to said curve, a distance of 155.62 feet;
thence easterly along a tangential curve concave to the northeast, having a central angle of 19

easterly of the centerline of Ipava Avenue, described by metes and bounds as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast comer of PARADISE HILLS (Plat, dated June 6, 1996. Recorded
July 2,1996 in Book 30 of Plats, page 37, as Doc No. 1359777); thence North 85 degrees 25
minutes 36 seconds West, assumed bearing, along the North line of said plat, a distance of 60.00
feet to the point of beginning of the roadway centerline to be described; thence northerly along a
non-tangential curve concave to the East, having a central angle of 21 degrees 34 minutes 09
seconds, a radius of 800.00 feet, an arc distance of 30L 16 feet and a chord bearing of North 15
degrees 17 minutes 30 seconds East; thence North 26 degrees 04 minutes 35 seconds East,
tangent to said curve, to the southerly line of Parcel No. 1 described above. The side lines of
Parcel No. 2 shall be prolonged or shortened to terminate at the northerly line of PARADISE
-HILLS and at the southerly line of said Parcel No. 1.

Commencing at the Northeast comet of PARADISE HILLS (Plat, dated June 6,1996. Recorded
July 2,1996 in Book 30 of Plats, page 37, as Doc No. 1359777); thence North 85 degrees 25
minutes 36 seconds. West, assumed bearing, along the North line of said plat, a distance of 60.00
feetto a point on the centerline of Ipava Avenue; thence northerly along said roadway centerline,
along anon-tangential curve concave to the East, having a central angle of 21 degrees 34
minutes 09 seconds, a radius of 800.00 feet, an azc distance of 301.16 feet and a chord bearing of
North 15 degrees 17 minutes 30 seconds East; thence North 26 degrees 04 minutes 35 seconds
East along the roadway centerline, tangent to said curve, a distance of 609.38 feet; thence South
63 degrees 55 minutes 25 seconds East, a distance of 60.00 feet to a point on the easterly line of
Parcel No. 2 described above, said point being the point of beginning of the parcel to be
described; thence North 26 degrees 04 minutes 35 seconds East, along said easterly line, a
distance of 99.67 feet to a point on the southerly line of Parcel No. 1 described above, thence
easterly along said southerly line, along anon-tangential curve concave to the southeast, having a
