HomeMy WebLinkAbout00-114 RESOLUTION DATE .June- 5, 2000 RESOLUTION NO. 2©00-114 MOTION BY Mulvihill SECONDED BY Johnson RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION WHEREAS, The .City of Lakeville accepts grants and donations from organizations and individuals to enhance the delivery of specific public safety services; and WHEREAS, Heat-N-Glo, Hearth Technologies Inc. has offered to donate $300 to the City of Lakeville Police Department for use in the fitness program; and WHEREAS, The Lakeville Police Department would like to accept this donation for use in this program; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statute 465.03 requires that all gifts and donations of real • or personal property be accepted only with the adoption of a resolution of the governing body. NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lakeville accepts the donation from Heat-N-Glo, Hearth Technologies Inc.; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Lakeville and the Police Department sincerely thanks this organization for their generous donation.
