REGULAR MEETLNG
April 29, 1971
The regular meeting of the Lakeville Planning was called to order at 8.00
P. M. 'April 29, 1971.
Members present: Lau, Stanley, Dunham, Jensen, Antolik, VanBellinger.
Absent• Haglund.
1. The minutes of April 8, 1971 were read. Motion by Stanley., seconded by
VanBellinger to approve the minutes as read. Motion carried.
2. The minutes of Special meeting of April 15, 1971 were read. Motion by
Dunham seconded by VanBellanger to approve the minutes as read. Motion
carried.
3. The minutes of Special meeting of April 22, 1971 were read. Motion by
Lau, seconded by Stanley to approve .the minutes as read. Motion carried.
4. Public hearing of Mr. Warren Grossman for placing-and keeping mobil home.
Motion by Stanley,seconded by Dunham to recommend to Village Council. to
grant this permit for balance of this year (1971). Motion carried.
5. Public hearing .of Bernard Schweich for placing and keeping mobil home.
Motion by Lau seconded by VanBellanger to recommend to Village Council to
grant this permit. Motion carried.
6., Public-shearing of Robert Schweich for Variance to Ordinance as to grade
of bui ding site. Motion by Jensen seconded by Dunham to recommend to
Village Council. to grant this Variance. Motion c~ar~~ed.
7. Public hearing of Lad Holding Co. and Vern Donnay Rea11;y for Final Hearing
on Plat for 5th Addition. Motion by Lau seconded by Stanley to recormend
to Village'Council to recommend approval of Final. Plat subject to ditch
improvement by Donnay Construction Co. and drainage easement to be pro-
vided by property owners to .the south upon the recommendation of A.S.C.A.
office in Farmington, Minnesota. Motion carried.
8. Public. hearing of Overland Second Addition for Final Nearing of Plat.
Motion by Stanley, seconded by Van Bellanger to recommend to Village Coun~i
to approve Final. Plat of Overland-SecondyaA~dition. Motion carried.
9. Public hearing of Itasca Equipment Co. for.
a. Zoning. to I -1B Limited 'Industrial District.
b. Conditional use Permit.
Motion by Stanley, seconded by Dunham to recommend to Village Council
to deny this rezoning. Motion carried.
b. Motion by Jensen,-seconded by Stanley to recommend to Village Council
to~deny this conditional use .permit. Motion carried. Also a petition
has been filed with the Planning Commission concerning these hearings.

10. Public hearing of Mr. Gene G. Tragar to rezone from R- 1 C to R-3C.
P~lotion,by Van6ellanger, seconded by Lau to recommend to Village Council "
to deny this rezoning until a presentable plan or Plat is presented.
Motion carried. Also a petition has been filed withthe Planning commis--
. lion concerning this hearing.
ll. Mr. Charles Wren and Patrick request permit to move house into Lakeville.
Motion by Lau, seconded by Dunham to recommend to Village Council to
grant this permit. Motion carried.
12. Robert ~iahowald requested permit to move house into Lakeville. Motion by
Antolik, seconded by Stanley to recommend to Village Council to grant this
request. Motion carried.
13. Mr. Phillip Park requested permit to erect fiberglass structure to be used
as office and sales display for this type of building. This building to be
built at 35W and Hiway 5Q, by union 76 Station. Motion by Lau, seconded by
Stanley to recommend to Village Council to grant building permit subject to
Village Engineer approval. Motion carried.
14. Motion by VanBellanger, seconded by Stanley to adjourn at 10:35 P. M.
Motion carried.
