The regular meeting of the Lakeville Planning Commission was called to
order at 8:00 p.m. July 29, 1971.
h1embers present: Dunham, Stanley, Lau, Antolik, VanBellinger, Haglund.
1. The minutes of July 8, 1971 were read, hlotion by Dunham, seconded by
VanBellinger to approve the minutes as read. f~~otion carried.
2. The minutes of July 26,.1971 special meeting were read. felotion by
Stanley..,. seconded by Haglund to approve the minutes as read. hlotion
carried.
3. Public hearing of John & Robert Stewart for re-zoning from R-1B to B5
with special use permit for boarding, buying, and selling horses. This
hearing is post-poned to August 12 , 1.971 as to amend present ordinance.
4. Public hearing of Schniitty and Sons Bus Co. for .variance to the ordinance.
as to rear yard setback and side set back.
(a) hlotion by VanBellinger, seconded by Stanley to recommend to Uillage
Council to grant this variance. hlotion carried.
(b) Motion by Lau, seconded by VanBellinger 'to .grant building permit
• subject to Building Inspector's approval of plans. Motion carried...
5. Publice hearing of Jeroriie Soucek for variance to the ordinance on lot size
and set backs. (Mr. Uick Hollenbeck of Reason Fealty represented f1r. Soucek
who was not present). Motion by Stanley, seconded by Haglund to table this
hearing to August 12, 1971 at which time Mr. Saucek will present a copy of
certificate of survey of lots 3-4-5, Block 3, Lakeville Gardens. hlotion
carried.
6. Public hearing of Edna 2t George Warweg for re-zoning from R-1C to B-5.
lotion by Stanley, seconded by VanBellinger to table this hearing to
.August 12, 1971. Plotion carried.
7. flr. J. Thomas Sheridan requested information for placing and keeping a
mobile home.
8. Mr. Leonard Bentson representing h'lr. Weichselbaum presented a proposed plat
and requested information .for park land.
9. Mr. Gene Jacobsen representing 1~1r. Harold itlalmanger resented the Planning
Commission vrith a letter from the A.S.C.A. Office as requested regarding
proposed plat.
10. Continuation of public hearing of Robert Laddusavr for re-zoning. This
hearing post-poned to August 12, 1971 at vahich time he will present a
• copy of certificate of survey.
11. iYir. Giles & h1r. Partington request building permit to build addition to
Gulf Station located at Co. Rd. 70 & Holyoke. ({lotion by VanBe}linger,
seconded by Haglund to recommend approva] of building permit subject to
plans being signed by registered engineer and approval of Building
Inspector. (lotion Carried.

12., h1r. Kent Nord requested infornration for establishing a Plator Home and
Camper Travel Trailer business.
13. f~1r. Rollie Kruger of Vern Donnal Realty Inc. presented preliminary plat
of Gonnay's Valley Park 6th Addition. .(Motion by Lau, seconded by Stanley
to recommedn approval subject to Park & Recreation Committee approval of
park land. Motion carried.
14. f~lotion by Stanley, seconded by Haglund to recommend to Village Council
that Gerhard Groenjes be approved to fill vacancy on Planning Commission.
