HomeMy WebLinkAbout04-10-69 . E. • MINUTES LAKEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION A regular meeting of the Lakeville Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Jerome Clay at $s0~ P.M. April 10, 1969. Members presents Clay, Lau,. Sayers, Simones, Murphy, Van Bellinger, and A.ntolik. 1. The reading. of the minutes of the last meeting. Clay made. the correction that ~t wasn't a public hearing for Morrise Spandy on Y~,is proposed Platt for a park .area but a discussion. Motion by Simcsnes, seconded by Van Bellinger, to approve the minutes. Motion carried. 2. Public hearing of Jerome Clay, Earl Clay, Marion. Pelach, and Martha Clay to have land zoned commercial-industrial for the purpose of constructing a building for the housing of equipment. and materials.. and to consider the application fora building permit. to construct that building. Fred Taft, representing the. Parks Commission, met with the Plannxag Com~,~sian. A discussion eras held on the establishment of parks. It was decided that the Planning Commission will meet with the Parks .Commission on April ~3 to discuss this. Public hearing of Lakeville Parking Tnc, and L.N. Gephaart Inc.. to have land zoned industrial-commercial for use of a parking lot. Gerald Iialina represented them. The legal notice showing the correct. legal description is attached and forms a permanent part of this record. Motion by Sayers, s~cond~.d by A,ntolik, that the rezoning be approved contingent .that the grade in the alley be put back to the way it was before construction in the area, the drainage be re-established as it was, a screening fence six feet high along the north, west of Heintz's and three feet high along the house, be erected by Art Heintz~s an~i be maintained by Lakeville Parking, the east side be baracaded, a curb placed by the fence, and a "NO Truck Parking" sign placed in the. parking lot. Motion carried, Lau in opposition to t,, changing ~°-the street grade. 5. Bob Stegmaier requested information on the development of about 600 acres of land." Representing him was Thomas Tautges of the. Ebin Robertson Development Company. They wish to develope land • , for an over-all planned community, including all faces-of .development. It would include 6n~ residential, 1~% commercial, and mobile home. They were instructed to draw up a preliminary plan and present it to the Commission. 6. Reading of the report on the qualifications, hiring procedures, .job responsibilities, and the applications for the buildi~$ inspector and the plumbing inspector. A.'d.scussion was held. 7.
