The Area Learning Center held its graduation in the LAAC’s theater on Thursday, June 2.
A Red Cross babysitting course was held in the LAAC’s classroom on Saturday, June 4.
Giant Step Theatre held auditions for on Friday and Saturday,
June 3 and 4.
Expressions Community Theater held auditions for on Monday and
Tuesday, June 6 and 7.
Journey Montessori School held its end of the season program on Wednesday, June 8.
Primrose School held its graduation on Friday June 10.
Reisinger Piano Studio held its end of year recital on Saturday, June 11.
Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre opened its camp on Monday, June 13 and ended the week
on Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18.
with two performances of
South Metro Jazz started its summer camp on Tuesday, June 14.
Children’s Castle Theatre started rehearsal on the LAAC stage on Monday, June 20, and
performed on Friday-Sunday, June 24-26.
Summer Art Camps began Monday, June 20 and will run continuously through Aug. 18.
Giant Step Theatre opened its production of the at Lakeville North
High School on June 23 and performed six times over the weekend. The show played
four more times on June 29 and 30.
The gallery exhibit for the month of June was the Minnesota Contemporary Quilters.

Apron Presentation. Jeanne Derus gave a short history of apron usage and showed
approximately 25 aprons from her collection. Nine ladies attended the coffee lecture.
Minnesota Twins vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game. Thirty-three fans enjoyed a Twins win
on a beautiful summer day at Target Field.
Senior Citizens Pan-O-Prog Dinner at Crystal Lake Golf Course; 63 people were served.
Our current event discussion group met for the last time until September. They wanted
to take the summer off.
The new foot care agency is very well accepted here and they have a full appointment
calendar.
Chair massage appointments are picking up since our new massage therapist started.
The motorcycle group has only gone on one ride so far, due to inclement weather.
Exercise classes, pickleball, legal advice and the singles club are all going strong.
13 new members during this time period. Total membership is 926 (new and renewed).
