Proposed Action
The Lakeville Area Arts Center Advisory Board recommends adoption of the following
motion: Move to approve of an amendment to increase rental rates in the Lakeville Area
Arts Center Use and Policies by 10% beginning with the fall season in September 2011.
Passage of this motion will allow the Arts Center to generate increased revenue for the
rental of space for public use of the LAAC.
Overview
The current rental rates have been in effect since January 2008. The increased fee will
generate revenue and better cover the staff time and building supplies necessary to
keep the Lakeville Area Arts Center available to rent for public events and
performances.
