• MINUTES OF PLANNING COMMISSION
SPECIAL. MEETING RE-ZONING OF GLENN KLOTZ INTEREST
MONDAY, MARCH 12,, 1973
Meeting was called to order by Chairman H. Lau, 7:30 P.M. Members present
were Dunham, Lutgens, Brandes, and Lau. Absent were Antolik, VanBellinger, Haglund.
1-- PuLlic hearing was held to consider the application of Glenn Klotz for
re-zoning triangular piece of land, SE of Orchard Lake, bounded on the
S by 172nd St W and on the E by Mpls., Northfield & Southern RR tracks,
Sec 12, T114N, R21W. Land content is approximately 25 acres. This piece
of land is directly N and across the road (172nd St) from Queen Anne
Terrace. Re-zoning from B-4 to R-1C.
Two interested neighbors appeared, Mrs. Jean Rittenhouse and Mrs. Schultz.
Neither object to re-zoning from commercial to residential, but do object
to any heavy hauling by trucks over the present bad roads.
Brandes made the motion to change the zoning on the property from B-4 to
R-lA (rather than R-1C), subject to perculation tests and 1 Acre, or larger,
lots. Lutgens seconded". Carried.

2-- In the matter of approving a building permit for Weisner lot on side
of Orchard Lake that was discussed at meeting in August 1972, Brandes made
the motion to correct minutes to approve building permit for the lot,
providing Building Inspector and Mr. Glenn Klotz can get together on
building .within the approved limits. Lutgens seconded. Carried.
Brandes and Lutgens made and seconded the motion to adjourn. Carried.
