Chairman Henry Lau called the meetirxg to order at $:00 P.M. Meyers present:
Lau, VanBellinger, Antolik, Brander, Lutgens,,and Dunham. Haglund was absent.
Motion to approve the minutes of the September 27th meeting. ny Antolik, 2nd
by VanBellinger. Motion carried.
110. Public hearing of Paul A. Oxley far conditional use permit for Weatherarna
Weather Servi.css in Valley Park at 73'~r~ 1 2~St, Sec 3, T114, R20, was.
held. Mr. Oxley stated this is to be a part time business in his homes
selling. weather equi:~xnent for schools, utilities, etc. VanBellinger made
motion to approve conditional use permit for Mr. gx~.ey for period of three
years.' .Second was by Dunham. Motioncarried.
lll.Brandes made motion to approve plans for recreation center of Instant Homes,
with the stipulation that the Building Inspector gets all the information he
feels he,needs on the matter. from the Metro Sewer. Commission. VanBellinger
seconded. Motion carried.
Mr. Kenneth Barber and Mr. Gerald Anderson, 4who lives on .Jersey Av on
Lake Marion,)appeared to discuss plans for building a guesthame over present
garag®. The foundation under existing slab is for atwo-storybuilding.•
Matter is tabled to allow &°andes to inquire of Village Attorney i.f restric-
tion of second-family dwelling an .single lot applys.
Copies of Planner Lee Starr~s September 12th letter regarding lot-size
where na public sewer is available were given Commission members.. Question
of platting was discussed, The matter was tabled until October 2,5th meeting.
VanBellinger and Lutgens made and seconded motion to adjo~m meeting.
