The regular meeting of the Lakeville Planning Commission was called to order
at 8:00 P.M. Members present were Lutgens, Brandes., Lau, Antolik, and Haglund--
absent were Dunham and VanBellinger.
The minutes of the December 13th meeting were read and approved.
122. Public hearing of Mike Gephart for placing and keeping a mobile home
located on So. 363 ft of the E. 300 ft. of SE4 of NE4 of Sec 31, T11~F,
R20--motion by Lau, 2nd by Antolik, to approve this permit. Motion carried.
123. Public hearing of Martin D. Wester for .placing and keeping a mobile home
located on Lot 6, Block 1, Clay's Acres--motion by Brandes, 2nd by Lutgens,
to grant a permit for only 6 months, with no further re-newal. Motion.
carried.
12~. Public hearing of Mrs. Irene Ruddle for placing and keeping ambbile home
located at 21810 Dodd Blvd--motion by Brandes, 2nd by Lutgens, to approve
this permit. Motion carried.
125. Public hearing of G 8c G Builders, Inc., for the Plat of Lakeridge, located
Govt Lot 1, Sec 19, T11~+, R20; also that part of Govt Lot 3, See 2~+, T11~F,
R21, lying Easterly of the MN&S RR right of way; and also that part of the
SE,-~ of the SE,i--, of Sec 13, T11~#, R21, lying Easterly of the MN&S RR right
of way, except the E 10 acres thereof. This is a preliminary plat hearing.
y Lakeville Park and Rec ch~man stated that more time was needed to consider
what park land they will consider. Motion by Brandes, 2nd by Lutgens, to
table this hearing until further information from the Park and Rec Committee
and Village Engineer and Soil Conservation Service is received. Motion carried.
126. Public hearing of Edwin M. Swanson for variance to lot size, location Lot
• Block 20, Antlers Park Addition was heard. Lot is 52 ft wide and approximately
300 ft deep. Motion by Haglund, 2nd by Brandes, to grant this variance.
Motion carried.
127. Public hearing of Edwin M. Swanson for building a Wausau home, requiring a
building permit. Motion by Haglund, 2nd by Brandes, to grant this building
permit. Motion carried.
128. Notice of hearing was read pertaining to amendment to Ordinance No. X42,
See 9,~+, Paragraph 3 and Ordinance No. 11. Motion by Brandes, 2nd by Lutgens,
to approve hearing notice as read. ("where no sanitary sewer and municipal
water system is available, the following requirements shall be observed:
three acres. That further consideration will be given to amending Ord. No. 11
to provide a three acre minimum lot size where public sewer and water is not
available.")Motion carried.
129. Mr. Jack Fairholm presented a revised proposed plan for development located at
215+1 Kenrick, also known as old MTH 65 for building to be 50' by 100', re-
quested a building permit. Motion by Lutgens, 2nd by Lau, to grant a building
permit. Motion carried.
130. A discussion was held by the Commission re: extension of Highview Av to Co Rd
~+6, or 162nd St. Motion by Haglund, 2nd by Antolik, to recommend to Village
Council to deny extension of Highview Av because of the financial obligation
that the Village would incur at this time, and of the current economy and
uncertain growth of this area. Motion carried. Lau opposed--because he
feels that sewer and water should be brought to Dakota Heights,- also in other
areas that have been platted.
131. Discussion was held re: cesspools. .Motion by Haglund,. 2nd by Lau, to recommend
to Village Council to adopt Ordinance, or policy, that were sewer and water put
in, then all cesspools shall be filled in fore-safety reasons. Motion carried.
132. Motion by Lau, 2nd by Brandes, that in the event Highview Av is extended, it is
Commission's recommendation that pedestrian and cycle pathways be incorporated
in the right of way. Motion carried.
Motion by Lau, 2nd by Lutgens, to adjourn 11:20 PM Motion c ried.
