VILLAGE Ul'LAKEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION
r JANUARY 13, 1972
The regular meeting`of the Lakeville Planning Commission was called to
order at 8:00 P.M: January 13, 1972.
Members present: llunham, Brandes, Lau, Antolik, VanBellinger, Haglund.
Absent' Stanley.'
The minutes of vecember 30; 1971 meeting were read. Motion by Ilaglund,
seconded by Brandes to approve the minutes as read. Motion carried.
1. Continuation of public hearing of John Raplinger for placing and keeping a
mobile home. Motion by Haglund, seconded by-Brandes to recommend to the
Village_Council o deny this request'as,the owner does not live in :this
mobile home, ,this is in violation to ,Village Ordinance 9. Motion ...Carried.
2. Continuation of public hearing of John L. Talley for placing and keeping a
mobile home. Motion by Brandes, seconded by VanBellinger'to table this
hearing to,January,27, 1972. meeting. notion carried.
3. Public. hearing of Jesco Inc. for: re-zoning R-1C to I-1B, limited industry
district. Jesco-Inc." was represented by htr. Thomas Keller,,Tir. C.P. Judge,
Mr. Jexry Dayton. Alotion by Antolik, seconded by Haglund to recommend to
the Village Council to deny this re-zoning for ,the following:
A.-This request does not conform to our land use map....
B. The Planning Commission does 'not adhere to spot zoning.
C._Because ofopposition of Uak,Shore home Owners Association.
D.-The `proximity of location to park site. Mr. Len Nelson.
presented a site plan of park approved:by Park and Recreation
Committee.
Motion carried.
4. Mr: Thomas Taylor representing Mr. Joseph'Weichselbaum presented a preliminary
plat of Weichselbaums 1st Addition.
Motion by Brandes, seconded by VanBellinger to-recommend to Village Council.
to approve preliminary plat subject to approval of Park & Recreation Committee
as to park"land and that a covenant be established to eliminate any subdivision.
of lots 2 thru 6 in Weichselbaums 1st; Addition. Motion carried.
5. Mr. Harold Malmanger presented a preliminary plat plan fnr proposed development.
A discussion followed. No action taken by Planning Commission.
6. Charles; M. ~'reidheim Co. presented plans of .proposed building, no action taken
by Planning Commission as this requires a variance as to height of building
required by our ordinance.'
7. The Planning Commission reviewed the proposed horse ordinance and submitted
a revised ordinance`to Village'Council for approval.
8. Motion by VanBellinger, seconded by llunham to recommend to Village Council to
amend 'R-1 zoning ordinance to read: Side yard set back adjacent to street be
30 feet instead of 20 'feet: Motion carried.
