COMMISSION
Mr. Lau called. the meeting to order at 8 P.M. M~abers present were I~inham,
~ Brander, Lau. Anto7.ik, and YanBeilinger.
1. Public hearing to consider the application of Mr. A3.an Morrison for
variance to side-yard set back at'205~ Howland Av., Lakeville,. Pin.
was held. `There is no ob~scti4n to this variance. Brander and
pntalik made and secx~nded the motion to approve the variance. Motion
was carried.
2. Public hearing of Mr Aennis J. Borawski for variance to side-.yard
set back to build garageon`Lot 15, Block 2, Donnay College Park
2nd Adriiton, 1.6668 Gannon Av. , Rosemount, Mn. was next order `of
business. (Decision gn this application had beers tabled because of
an a~aparent disca~ega~cy of maps from the Apr3.1. 27th meeting. )
Ob~ecting`z~ghbor was advised that'the next Lakeville Council
;~eeting will be held the first Monday in-June. Dunham::made the
motion to grant the variance. Second was by,danBellinger. Motion
was carried.
3. Public hearing was held to consider the application of Kermit &
Marie ~rseth for placing and keeping a mobil hems on land des-
vribed as IdW ~ of the I3W Sec. 2~b,_ T 134, <R 2.1. W. The Burseth
.home. on this property 'had recently been destroyed by fire. Brandes
made the motion `to grant this 'application. until :the first of the
year. Second was b`~ Antolik., Motion was carried.
4. Mr. Frank Liptak, Vern Dannay representative, showed maps and ex-
plained which..paraels of'land are going to be considered for re-
zaning. 'P'ublic hearings will be held,on this matter at the May
2~th` meeting.
5. Mr. Dick Clemder and Mr. Art Leibfried appeared with plans for a
sheet metal and steel building to be`used to house four'trueks.
The front wil7~ be of painted corrugated metal and decorative
material will be used around the door area iri front. Publio hear-
ing was held: on this matter March 3Oth. Brander made the motion
that' Mr. Cls~c~nsr present the Cora~?i.ssion with a site plan, and.
shutters on windows on north elevation (front) is suggested.)
Ainham seconded the motion. Nation -was carriedd.
6. Nix'. Wi3.liam Jackson presented a.preliminary plat of land to be
known as Jackson heights. Hs stated that he is donating Lot 9
and $l,OOO cash for a park. Dunham made the Motion to approve
this: preliminary plat, VanBellinger seconded the motion.
Motion was`: carried.
7. Public hearing was held to consider amendments to the Village
Zoning Qrdinance No. 42. This covers special use permits Without
re-zoning. Motion to amend Village Zoning Ordinance No. 42, parts
R 1 A, R 18.'and R l C to read especial use permit be'required
for profit-making endeavor without re-zoning'F by ` Brander. Seconded
by Lau. Motion was carried.
8. Public hearing was held to consider the application of Mr. Wallace
M. Martin for placing and keeping mobile home on land described as
SW 4 of the SW w of Sec. 13, =T. 11#, R 21 W. ~1~1 ~ of the NW of
Sec. 24, 114, R 21 W, ~ mile south of..Orchard:.Trail on east side
