Chairman Henry,Lau cal3ed the meeting to order at 8:90 P.M.
Members answering roll ca7.1. were Dunham, Brander, Lutgens, Lau, Antolik,
and VanBellinger. Haglund was :absent.
Minutes of'the meeting of September 28th were read. Bra~des made the motion
to approve the minutes as read. Lutgens seconded. Motion was:: carried.
1. Preliminary public hear3.ng on subdivision of Sot for Mr. `Dennis Wilson was
heard. This lend is legally described as gall that part of Government Lot
(l) and of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter. and of the Northwest
Quarter of .thee Southeast Quarter of Section l3, Township 124, Range 21.'~ '
on Orchard Trail. Content is 3.2 acres.. VanBellinger made the motion to
.:approve the subdivision. Lau seconded. Motion .was amended to also read
subject to Water and Sewer Committee`approval:n Motion was carried.
2. A public h®aring o consider the application of Mr. LeRoy E. Ton~en for
variance to garage size on Lot'2, Block :4, Lakeville Hills, was heard. Mr.
2ong~n wishes to construct a 34t x 24t attached garage. Brandes made the
motion to approve the variance= second was by Lutgens. Motion 'was. carried.
3. Public hearing to consider the application of ivlrr. vlilliam G. Pearson, Jr.
for garage sire variance was .held. Mr. Pearson .wishes to build a 28~ x,30'
garage on Lot 9, B:Lock 12, Antlers. Park, Seca. l9, T.114, R20. Lau made the
motion to approve the variance, seconded by VanBellinger. t~~oton was
carried.
~F." Variance to side yard set-back, applicants John R. and 3anice A Anderson,
on apt. of Gov't Lot 3, Sea. 2, T114, R21„, Orchard Lake, was the next
public hearing. .Ti~is is on the north shore of Orchard Lake. Aset-back
of 7~ instead of 10' is desired. Brander made`the motion. to approve this`
variance.- Seoond was by Denham. Motion was carried.
Preliminary public hearing of Wildwoad Ponds Zst Addition, Robert N. and
Marie Clark, .represented by Mr. Gail Davis, was heard.. This land is north
of Hwy.'~#b4, almost on the Dakota-Scott County line. It is legally described
as East i of NWW~n and "West 2 of NF~, Less 2A. Walter and Grace Krawza in
of, NEB, and Nl,ess 3.2 A• Milton Peterson in SW4 of NEB , " all in Sec. 2b,
T].1~, R21W. `Land. content is' 1b0 A. Single family ..residential :..lots are now
planned. Mr. Dav~.s stated. that he would make the other Lakeville .Committees
aware of the change in their plans. Lau made the motion toapprovethis
application subject to ASC,~Co. r'hgineer, and Village IIigineer approvals.
VanHsllinger seconded the motion.. Motion was carried.
b. F~.iblic hearing for Airlake Zndustrial.Park preliminary plat approval, 2nd
,and 3rd Additions, was heard. rr. Maynard Johnson and Mr. Gene Jacobsen;pre-
sentedplans. There now seems to be a questionas to width measurement of
streets. This may be only a typographical error. Brander made the .motion
to approve application subject to consultation of Co. Fhgineer, Mayor.Jansen
and .Council, and Water and Sewer.Committee--because definitions previously
agreed upon may ba different now. Lau seconded the motion. ,Motion was carried.
