.The meetingwas called to order at 8;00 P.M. :Members present were: Dunham, Brander,
Lau, Antolik, VanBeilinger, Iaglund. Absent: ~,utgens.
Minutes of the meeting Weld on October 12th were read. Brandes and Antolk made
and seconded the motion to approve the minutes. Potion carried.
1. Public hearing was head to consider the application cif i4T's. Helen Stewart for
a conditional 'use permit for a beauty shop on lend legally described, "16306 Germane
Court West, Lot 60, Block 2, Donnay Valley Park'r. Mrs. Kathy Krohner, a neighbor,
appeared to voice support for. Mrs. Stewart. VanBellingEr made the motion to ..approve
the conditional use permit_~5 year time limit. 'Dunh~an seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
2, Public hearing was held'to consider the application of Koinonia Baptist Church for
special use permit on l and legally described 'that part of the cast Z of the N.E.
w of Section 33 - Tlllr1, R20h, lying r,ast of a dine dra-~n .parallel with and ~ft`i4
`.feet East of the West line of said East 2 of the A1. E. -4, which lies North 'of the
center line of state Highway ,~O and 'test of the West boundry of Cedar Avenue.
Mr. Herman &luem was present for the Church. Lard is north of Hwy. X50 and
t~~ Cedar Ave., ? or 7z acres is the land content. They plan to guild as'soon'as
possible. Haglund made the: motion to approve special Vase permit, Antolik seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
Mr. Philip H. Swan:'was the applicant at a public hearinG to consider final hearing
on Subdivision of I,ot 7. Legal description ,is 'rLot 7, Block i, P•aplewood Estates,
Sec. l8, Tll~, R20". According to Mr. Gene. Jacobson, else present, the County
Surveyor, has agreed to ser;d a letter of his apprAVal of the subdivision. Haglund
made the motion to approve the subdivision. hr:tolik seconded. ,Motion carried.
4. Motion to amend Lakeville _?nr~ir~g Ordinance ;¢42, ordinance no. 55, section 3,
....add the word, "detached". aording would then be 'rang' detached garage or accessory
building, rr etc. .Motion ~~as made by ~randes, seconded by ri~,~;lund. Motion was
carried.
Motion made by Haglund, seconded by Van~4ellinger, to adopt and update as Planning
Commission policy, the suggestions on re-.zoning as outlined by Planner, I~ir R.
Lee Starr. (See attached copy :and added suggestions.) Motion carried.
6. Planning.. Co:nmiswon members unanisnopasly agreed that tf~e Commission is in favor
of establishing an ordinance on underground wiring. Brander :Wade the motion
that the Village II~gireer anc~ the Village ,attorney dxaft an acceptable ordinance
regarding' underground +.~iring in any newly platted area, ;whether it is commercial,
industrial, or residential--included,alsa, should be any re-wiring in established
areas. Haglund seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Antolik wi11 read the Commission ~ s meeting' minutes of Oct. 12 and 26th ~ at the
next Council meeting--~lonciay. iinutes of the Special Iaee~ing, Oct.. 16th, have been
read to them. (Copy of the 16th minutes, however, is inclosed.)
Antoli~t made the motion to adjourn. the meeting, 2nd by Brander. Motion was
