Six members were in attendance--Haglund being absent. The minutes of the meeting held November 9~!were read and approved. 1. Public. hearing for Frederick-Wi11ys,,Inc. far underground storage for gasoline.. Brander and Antolik made and seconded the motion to grant the permit, motion carried. 2. Russell G. Partington was the applicant at a public hearing for variance to yard set-back ~3 ft.}, on Lot 1. Block 3, 206,55 xowland Ave. Brander and Lutgens made and seconded the motion to postpone the matter until December 14th--Mr. Partington was not at the meeting. Motion carried. 3. Public hearing for Shiloh, Inc. .for conditional use permit to operate stables was also postponed two weeks since applicant did not attend hearing. 4. Public hearing for A. M. Banks (represented by Mr. Glen Nord) to re-zone from R-1C to B-4C, land described as Lot 11, Block 1, Overland 1st Addition, was heard. Lutgens made the motion ta,table a decision on this matter until December 14th--so that the planner, Mr: Starr, and the developer, Mr. Bankr, can get together, motion carried. Public hearing was held far Hedy's Ceramics for a conditional use permit on land in Va13ey Park, ?389 1b7th Street. Neighbors of this home were in attendance--Mr. Don West said he did not feel there were any problems with parking. .Another neighbor wondered about fire hazard and was told it would be inspected. Brander made the motion to grant the permit, one year time limit, and have fire chief inspect the premises. Lutgens seconded, motion carried. Mr. Ro11ie Krueger ,developer at 163rd and Cedar Ave.. appeared. VanBellinger and Antolik made and seconded the motion to approve building permit, recommendation f©r two parks to comply with the code, motion carried. This is a cotrnnercial bldg, Valley Park. The date of December 28th has been set for re-Hewing mobile home permits. Colored slides and a talk presentation on soil conservation were given by Mr. Bob Sayers, Mr. Jim Wille, assisted by M. Becker and Bob Drewry. Motion by Lutgens,: seconded by Antolik, to adjourn the meeting, Motion carried. Time: 10:30 P.M.
