HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-14-72 MINUTES OF THE LAKEVILLf PLANNING COMMISSION DECEMBER 14 ,1972 • Meeting was called to order by Chairman Lau at 8:00 P.M. Members present were Dunham, Lutgens, Brandes, Lau, and Antolik. VanBellinger and Haglund were absent. Minutes of the November 30th meeting were read. There were. two correction. Item #5 should read "inspection be made by insurance company". Also, in miscellaneous data, the words "parking spaces" should be usedin connection with Mr. Rollie Krueger. Brandes made the motion, seconded by Lutgens, to approve corrected minutes, motion carried. Decisions on public hearings of Partington, Shiloh Stables, and Banks had been postponed from the November 30th meeting. Mr. Partington had settled his need for a variance for side yard set-back. Mr. Kenny Day was present to represent Shiloh Stables.. The application was for conditional use permit to operate stables. Brandes made the motion (since there had been na complaint or objections to approve the Shiloh application -time limit being two years. 2nd was by Lutgens, motion carried. Mr. A. M. Banks and. Mr. Glenn Nord were present awaiting a decision on the re-zoning of the Banks property in the northern part of the old Village of Lakeville, from residential zoning to business zoning, which it had been originally. Mrs. Paul Kraft and Mr. Tony Kreijce were present. They own land next to the Banks' property. Mrs. Kraft was concerned about buffering. Brandes made the motion to approve the re-zoning providing there is strict adherence to the ordinance and council recommendations. Lutgens 2nd the motion, motion carried. 1. Public hearing was held to consider the application of Mr. Francis f. Rittenhouse for special use permit to operate a print shop..This operation will be carried out in his Orchard Lake home on 172nd St W and Kodiak Ave. Legal description is part of Lot 1, Sec 11, T 1i4, R Z1. Antolik made the motion to recommend that the council. approve • this conditional use permit, time limit being set at two years. Second was by Lau, motion carried. 2. Public hearing was held to consider the application of Mr. Mike Keegan to build and construct a pre-fob Wausau home on land legally described as Lots 2 and 3 of Block 1, Marion Heights, Sec 30, T 114, R 20. This is located on the SW corner of Lake Marion. Lutgens made the motion to approve the application, seconded by Dunham, motion carried. 3. Public hearing was held to consider the application of Mr. Dennis Wilson for final hearing on plat of sub-division of Lot 1 of the NE4 of the SW; and of the NWT-, of the SE4 of Sec 13, T 114, R 21, northern part of Lake Marion, next to Bassett's Addition. Brandes made the motion to approve the application, subject to submission of hard shell. Lutgens seconded the motion, motion carried. Mr. Ackerman notified the Planning Commission that there are twenty-eight- hearings scheduled for the meeting the 28th of December,-and asked that everyone be present if at all possible.
